GDS Bonus issue

Issue of GDS bonus ceiling not accepted by the Finance and ordered to recover excess paid bonus from GDS. Matter is taken with Prime Minister , Finance Minister to stop recoveries and to grant bonus as per Rs.3500/- to GDS by the NUGDS General secretary Shri. Muralidharan.
The strike call by the AIPED from 3.3.2009 on the charter of demands with NFPE affiliated associations.
FNPO & its affiliated associations will not participate such action. Positively GDS commission will announce before 2.3.2009. The call for strike by NFPE again & again is only political drama as before.

FLASH NEWS

1) GDS Committee finalised by the Department but waiting clearence from JS & FA before submission to the hon'ble MOC&IT for onward submission to MOF.
2) Exemption to the Postal Department from Screening committee denied by the committee of DOPT secretary.
3) Casual /part time/ paid substitutes /RRR candidates refixation of wages issue submitted to DOPT.
4) Fresh verification of membership for Recognition of service associations based on the Hon'ble Madras high Court is expected to be ordered after clearence of the file by the DOPT. Status-quo-ante is beingo ordered.

Setting up of Departmental Anomaly Committee of Dept.of Posts

In accordance with the instructions in the OM No- 11/2/2008-JCA dated 12.01.2009 of the DOPT , New Delhi appropriate Anomaly Committees should be set up by each Ministry / Department to settle the anomalies arising out of the implementation of the 6Th CPC recommendations.
Accordingly , Deptt.Of Posts has decided to set up a Departmental Anomaly Committee comprising of representatives from Official Side and Staff side. There will be 7 members from staff side in the ratio of 5:2 i.e. 5 from NFPE & 2 from NPO.
Secretary Generals of both unions are requested to intimate names of staff side representatives from federations within fortnight.
Departmental Anomaly committee shall receive the anomolies through secretary of the staff side.

GDS-Bonus recovered orders by Finance.

Finance ministry not agreed to enhance bonus ceiling of GDS employees 2500 to 3500 as regular employees. Recovery of extra paid bonus to the GDS ordered by the Finance Ministry.

Upgradation of Sanchay post SBCO module-

Meeting with Shri. VasumitraDDG(F.S) on 13th Jan. 2008 regarding use of V2SBCO software in SBCO or Sanchay Post, SBCO module Gen Secretary Put up the difference in both software & working of SBCO in details. The DDG(FS) DTE cleared that V2SBCO will not discontinued till the upgradation of sanchay Post SBCO module till it will fullproof as V2SBCO. Instructions to continue V2SBCO issued to the concerned.
Work shop of at SDC Chennai was held on 21-22 Jan 2008 in this regards. DTE has adressed to attend this workshop with suggestions in this regards. Shri. S. Samanthan Circle Secretary Tamilnadu deputed to attend this meeting by the General Secretary. Shri. Kawaljit Sing ASP(SB/SC) O/o the DTE is dealing the issue to upgrade Sanchay Post SBCO module as V2SBCO with fullproof functions. Suggestions put up by the associations are welcomed by the DTE/ DDG(FS).Till upgradation of this Sanchay Post SBCO module V2SBCO will use in SBCO.
Meeting with Secretary (Post) Ms Radhika Doraiswamy on 13th Jan 2008 on the issues to fillup vacancies , ACP , LSG/HSG-II & HSG-I issue which are under active consideration.D.Thegarajan S.G FNPO & all general Secretary along with myself attend meeting. Reverification of membership

The Secretary General, IPSBCO STAFF union reports that in a case filed by Bharatiya Unions long back in Chennai High Court, judgment was delivered recently to the effect that the applicant Unions should submit the membership applications to the Head of the Units instead of DDOs. Await further details.
